We took a random trip and planned a visit. The sculptures are beautifully crafted and very thought out. And wow are they big. Plenty of parking available for a Saturday. I must say this is a place I will bring my children back too.
Inspiring and stunning sculptures! I was blown away at the scale and creativity. Definitely a must-see if you pass by the area.
Recommend giving some donations since it is free admission and this hidden gem deserves it.
What a wonderful place. We found it by looking for Delaney's Surplus which is next door and the entrance is right past Delaney's. We walked in and were instantly amazed by the Forevertron facing us. You can spend as little as 30 minutes since there is a circular track around the grounds or you can spend an hour or two like we did looking closely at the creatures andmetal structures. The park is free but we gladly gave donations. It was amazing and I'm glad I have pictures of the memories. I hope to be back.
Very unique collection of sculptures. All were created with old scrap metal items. Nice walking path around the world. Many of the sculptures are birds. Many are from old brass musical instruments. It has a post apocalyptic feel to it but still comfortable. Definitely worth a stop. I guarantee you've never seen anything like it.
If you like to be amazed by metal sculptures, small and large, this is the place, some pieces are for sale too. This is larger inside the gate then what you think. If you are a do-it-yourself person, this place might help give you some ideas. They allow you to take pictures and entry is FREE however, they do accept Donations to continue their creativity.
Really cool place. Very unique experience. Easy access and free parking. Admission is free as well, but you can leave donations. Some items are available for sale, but due to them being one a kind pieces of art, they're definitely not cheap. A few exhibits are interactive. Definitely not like anything else I have ever seen. Really liked the way it was just go at your own pace. Be sure to explore the whole property. Would highly recommend this place.
Free but donations requested. Imagine if Dr. Seuss, Jules Verne, and Willy Wonka hung out with a welder... the pictures don't really do the sculptures justice, you should visit to experience the intricacies for yourself. Small gravel parking lot, port o potty on site. You could walk the park in 15 minutes but I'd plan to spend an hour.
I'm not a steampunk guy, and i've never been a fan of contemporary or even historical art, but it was emotionally moving to walk through this, to see the scale of it and the vision that this man had (and his family carries on with it).
Very cool that his family has continued to make it accessible to families after his passing. Very grateful to his daughter, son, and widow who are keeping this open - my kids loved touching and walking through everything, and this was a highlight of our trip.
Totally free, but do give them a donation.... they still have property taxes and other bills to pay to keep this going, which I hope they can for a long long time.
